WHAT CAUSES BODY ACNE & KP?

Body breakouts and bumps happen when pores get blocked with oil, dead skin cells, or keratin buildup.

Acne often shows up on the back, chest, and bum because these areas have more oil glands. KP (aka “chicken skin”) appears as small bumps on the arms, thighs, or bum when keratin builds up and plugs hair follicles.

The good news? Both are common, harmless, and very treatable with the right routine.

HOW TO SMOOTH BUMPS & CLEAR BREAKOUTS

1. Exfoliate regularly

Ingredients like glycolic acid, lactic acid, and salicylic acid help remove dead skin and unclog pores.

2. Use active body washes

A targeted body wash can help clear pores and reduce acne-causing bacteria.

3. Hydrate & repair the skin

Moisturisers with exfoliating acids smooth texture while keeping skin balanced.

4. Reduce irritation

Tight clothing, harsh scrubs, and heavy fragrances can aggravate breakouts.

INSIDE ME

Chicken skin and acne don't stand a chance against my powerhouse ingredients.
  • Glycolic & Lactic Acids
A dynamic duo of Alpha Hydroxy Acids (aka AHAs) that gobble up the top layer of skin cells, including impurities, pollution, and congestion that gather there. Revealing: bright, clear skin.
  • Witch Hazel
A natural antiseptic that banishes bacteria, while soothing redness and inflammation. A good witch that also tightens pores and helps put a stop to spots.
  • Niacinamide
There’s nothing ordinary about this active ingredient. It balances skin, helps prevent premature signs of ageing, and helps reduce your acne. I call it my show-stopper and pimple-blocker.

Bumps, breakouts and chicken skin? I’ve got the acids for that.

My Acid: Acne + KP range is made for rough, bumpy skin that’s prone to body acne, keratosis pilaris (KP), clogged pores and ingrown hairs. These formulas focus on exfoliating acids that help clear congestion, smooth texture and keep breakouts in check.

Glycolic acid, salicylic acid and lactic acid do the heavy lifting. They help dissolve the build-up of dead skin that can block pores and cause bumps, while working to smooth and refine uneven texture over time. The result? Skin that feels clearer, softer and a lot less bumpy.

This routine is especially helpful for areas like the arms, thighs, chest and back — anywhere body breakouts, KP or ingrowns tend to show up.

Start with a body wash or scrub to exfoliate and clear build-up. Then follow with a lotion, mist or treatment to help keep pores clear and skin feeling smoother between showers. Prefer a ready-made routine? My kits bundle the essentials together so your skin can get straight to work.
